...but you can call me .
Brynn Allison was born on the stage. A Southwestern Michigan native, she made her indie debut with her 2019 EP Meteor Showers fresh out of high school, followed by Hopeless Romantic (2020). Months after moving to Los Angeles, where she is currently based, she was recognized as a 2024 Rising Artist by Plaid Dog Studios in Boston, where she successfully crowdfunded over $12,000 to record her debut studio EP Little Red Door, out this Fall.
With a knack for storytelling and a background in the theatre, supported by her band of Hummingbirds, her music blends vivid lyricism with extravagant live performance. Her latest pop singles, “Shoes” — a sparkly anthem for the hometown heroes, and “Lake” — a heartfelt tribute to the Michigan town that raised her, make it clear that Brynnie isn’t just following a path; she’s building her own yellow brick road and dancing down it in heels.

A scrappy, campy daydream come to life, Brynnie & The Hummingbirds blends live music, theatre, sparkle, and satire with a revolving cast focused on community engagement. Fronted by singer/songwriter Brynn Allison, the group's core values are that of sustainability, accessibility, and queer joy. With their unique blend of upbeat pop and thoughtful indie-folk, they offer safe and inclusive entertainment for the whole family inspired by Golden Age Broadway, vaudeville comedy, and old school variety shows. Joined by Lucas Tammariello, Alec Luttrell, and Samantha June, The Hummingbirds welcome anyone looking for something to be a part of behind the Little Red Door.
